Just received my new Chess set and I thought I'd just take the time to thank your company for providing a fantastic service with a great price to match. The set I received, despite being listed as a slight second, is in pristine condition and arrived promptly this morning. It's worth every penny and has the quality of a set worth 2-3 times more on the high street (or even on other dedicated websites). Just a quick note of thanks for the swift delivery of the board. Much quicker than I was expecting. It's a lovely heavy board, and as we were looking for a black, rather than brown board, this looks very elegant, with the pieces I have. Thanks again.

Carl you are definitely on my Xmas card list. This is a fantastic set, pieces are bigger than I imagined so will need a big board but that can wait. You have been really great to me and my sons and we will enjoy countless hours with this. My old WHSmith boxwood set bought in 1970 has been super but great to now move up to a classic and weighty set. Undoing the pieces from their packaging was a challenge, but worth it. That must take you ages.... can't add feedback on your site, however if I could there would not be enough spaces on the line to impress on people the quality and service you have given. Dear Chessmaze, I just had to drop you a line to let you know that the above set, which I only ordered at the beginning of this week, was waiting for me when I got home and that I am absolutely stunned by the quality. And the extra Queens were a very nice surprise too. I have been after a good set for a long time and this one exceeds even my highest hopes. You are perfectly correct in your advert - it is the finest Staunton set I've ever seen. I have seen the set on offer elsewhere with a solid Mahogany chest and have to admit I thought I might wish to upgrade the one you supplied. But I couldn't have been more wrong. It is first class, cushioning the pieces perfectly. Many many thanks for a superb set. Stuart
