The set includes it's own compartment for stowing the pegged hardwood chess pieces and is simply primed for a game by flipping the lid round to reveal the playing surface. Crafted from Golden Rosewood and Boxwood the set has a quality feel and finish and is kindly polished using natural beeswax, rather than lacquers.
