The Elite Staunton Chess set is beautifully hand carved to the highest standards. Using the finest Budrosewood ( Sandalwood) and choice cuts of Boxwood this set quite simply put is Exquisite.
His majesty stands a towering 4.25" and has a base diameter of 1.75".
The carving to the major pieces is astonishingly detailed, for example the Bishops mitre is deep set and the queens coronet finely carved it produces an angular effect. The detail to the Knight is worthy of the highest accolade.

The Chessmen have been crafted out of Boxwood and Bud Rosewood. Each of the turning squares of Bud Rosewood used to create these Chessmen has been hand selected to provide the perfect amount of contrast with their counterparts. The result is a magnificent Chess set that is as beautiful as it is functional.
The set falls into the category of Triple weighted.
