It features a lid with a Chinese metal clasp. The interior of this box features Chinese printed lettering with a leather corner strap which stops the lid from falling back. This box holds a leather-feel game board with antique style faded look and with letters printed down 2 sides and numbers printed down the other 2 sides. This box also holds 2 further storage trays bound in leather-feel smooth finish with decorative painting on 2 sides of its exterior and decorative Chinese lettering on its interior. Each of the 2 trays holds 16 chess pieces of a colour in the style of the famous Chinese terracotta warriors (the chess pieces are in a resin material). One tray holds 16 light coloured pieces and the other tray holds 16 dark brown coloured pieces. The pieces are placed in moulded plastic inserts with felt lining that fit neatly into the storage trays.
