The Chessmen have been crafted out of Boxwood and Bud Rosewood ( Sandalwood)  Each of the turning squares of Bud Rosewood used to create these Chessmen has been hand selected to provide the perfect amount of contrastwith their counterparts. The result is a magnificent Chess set that is as beautiful as it is functional.

 These Exquisite Chessmen feature a 4.0" King with a 1.75" base diameter and are in the triple weight category.The green leather fitted base pads to the Sovereign bear the hallmark of the English Chess Company in a stunning gold colour motif ; coupled with a signed and stamped authentic proof from the directors of the English Chess Company ensuring the customer is receiving the genuine article. The Chess pieces are hand carved by our master artisans and crafted out of the highest grade Budrosewood and Boxwood. These beautiful Chess pieces are truly exceptional.
